Frequently asked questions

Is the show appropriate for fans of all ages?

Absolutely! Our show is exciting for all ages. Family appropriate rock and hip-hop music are played during the performance, and all of our professional riders are role model worthy for your kids. We also give out lots of free prizes and merchandise!
*Our riders perform on 450cc motorcycles and ATV’s and we advise Children under 2 years old to bring ear plugs if concerned about loudness from machines.*

How long is the show and how early should I arrive?

Doors open 1-hour before the show and each performance is 60 or 90-minutes long (90-minute shows include a brief intermission for machine cool down). If your event has added a matinee show, this normally begins at 1:00 PM. Check your event’s website for complete show information or visit our Facebook Events Page HERE.

What can I expect to see during the show?

Brave young daredevils launching machines through the air in various segments of rehearsed stunts, open free riding, and crowd participation games. We’ve been riding bikes, motorcycles, snowmobiles and atv’s our entire lives and we love to put on a show. It’s absolutely crazy to see in person. It’s exhilarating to feel the rush of adrenaline. And it’s highly entertaining to watch our pro’s handle such difficult riding performed so effortlessly. Did we mention we launch a 1,300 Polaris UTV off the ramp?

Have I seen any of these riders on TV before?

Likely! Jon Guetter was on the Discovery Channel when he backflipped his ATV over a moving train! And just recently his younger brother Derek was in movie Theatres across the world performing the atv stunts in the Hollywood blockbuster “Mike and Dave need wedding dates” doubling Zac Efron and Adam Devine. The list goes on and on- our guys are some of the best and have been all over the big screen!

Can I take photo and video during the performance?

Yes to both! We encourage you to share your photos and video live during the show on your social media using both the Fair & #ATVBigAirTour hashtags for chances to win great prizes and exclusive souviners.

Is there anything else to do at the show?

We encourage everyone to visit our Video Gaming Station with the latest “Mx vs ATV: All Out” PS4 and XBOX One video game with some of our riders featured in the game! We also bring a Merchandise tent that plays our films, signage and fun facts that shows some of our career history, and a photo booth to stick your head in life size action cut-outs!

Can we get a photo with the riders or an autograph after the show?

It would be our pleasure! After the completion of the show we host a FREE meet and greet and provide FREE autograph cards that the whole team will autograph. We want every fan to leave the show with something special!

Do the riders in the show ride Full Time?

Most of us still do. Derek and Jon were some of the very first to pioneer ATV stunt riding and we have been at the highest professional level for 15 years. In recent years, Jon has also started farming corn and Soybeans with his family in Southwest Minnesota. Some of our riders are X-pilots world champions, Minnesota City workers, clothing brand founder, Minneapolis Indoor ride park owner, and even professional Video game player! Everyone has a great story that we would love to share.

How many accidents have happened during the show?

We employ some of the most experienced riders we have toured with and fortunately we have only had minor incidents. We understand the risks involved but we are highly trained and know what we are doing. Please do not try this at home. Never reenact or recreate any of the stunts you see in the show- The ATV Big Air Tour is meant for entertaining purposes only.

What modifications are done to the ATV’s?

We use 450cc, fuel injected, high performance ATV’s that are setup for highly aggressive riding. Smaller wheels and tires are used for improved handling and feel. Fuel intake and exhaust systems are replaced with high performance aftermarket products. Nets and heel guards are added for rider safety, and Aftermarket suspension are the most important modifications made. “Grab handles” are also installed to help the riders hang on when they’re “letting go”.

What items are for sale in the merchandise stand?

ATV Big Air Tour Children and Adult T-shirts, jerseys, lanyards, and team posters; “MX vs ATV: All Out” video game for PS4 and XBOX one; RIDE Brand Hats, Hoodies, stickers and Sunglasses; MotoButter DVD featuring some of the riders in the show; limited quantities of ear plugs and checkered flag poles.

How much dirt is hauled in the for the course?

NONE! We bring portable ramps and show equipment!
